In the online portion of this course, you’ll learn and understand how the body responds to threat, why so many of your child’s behaviors are perceived as a threat, and how to retrain your nervous system to resolve this. You’ll also learn the different states of the nervous system and how to work with your child to reach a state of security. This will teach you how to have the capacity to be present. This means that you will know how to feel peace, ease, and patience during conflict and emotional outbursts, without having to struggle managing your own emotions or your child’s emotions.
